Customer Reviews

Works great on this 40-year-oldI love this stuff. I have deep dark under eye circles and have been looking for my miracle product for a long time. I'm so happy I was recommended this product. It is now part of my daily routine. I do notice that it applies better with a wedge than a finger or brush. Something to keep in mind.5One of the best!...From someone who's tried it all...I've tried everything....every.single.thing.... for my under-eye area. This is one of my favorites thus far. I actually starting using this with a Sigma P84 (which I also purchased from amazon) to apply, which works. However, now I apply it with the brush and then very lightly tap it in. It's certainly on the bright side, but's that's exactly what I wanted. It's also easy to blend with my concealer and doesn't crease (which is the most annoying thing for me with anything under my eyes). I actually stopped using any setting powder and there is no creasing when I just use moisturizer, this product and my concealer only.Helpful tip: Make sure you let each product dry before putting on the next (I used to think I had to put on everything at once, which caused creasing and what I can only describe as "cakey")...hope this helps.5Magic for crypt keeper dark circles. Finally something to cover the crypt keeper hereditary dark circles. Seriously I have tried everything you can imagine and as a MUA I know all the tips and tricks with makeup but nothing can compete with this magical corrector. Some will say it doesn't work right but there's a way to use it. You'll still need a concealer it's a corrector that does cover it cancels out the darkness. Olivia Pearson and Jacklyn Hill both do a great demo on how to use it on YouTube. All in all this is something I can recommend for all skin types and will forever be a staple in my kit and personal use.5absolute must have! wow!OMG! where has this product been all my life?! It makes me look human! I can wear it alone and look awake. It makes the under eyes look so bright as if you have concealer on. Or you can wear it underneath concealer. I just started using IT concealer and that's another new must have. anyways, back to this. In the picture which wasnt retouched I am wearing becca brightener with IT concealer on top. (cheeks have becca opal liquid shimmer topped with a bit of moonstone powder).I no longer leave the house w.o my becca brightener. I feel like my concealer looks 5x better with this underneath.UPDATE 3/2017: Still obsessed with this item. Wear it almost every time I leave my home :)5Worth the MoneyI thoroughly researched product reviews on this item before purchasing as ordering beauty products or clothing online can always be tricky. I must say I am quite impressed with this eye brightener. Looking at the color of the product in the container, I wasn't quite sure what to expect when applied to my skin. I was blown away! It melted right into my skin and I looked fresh and well rested. It worked well with my Estee Lauder foundation and powder, and I didn't experience any creasing by the end of the day. If it helps, I am 36 years old, with fair skin and hereditary darkness under my eyes. Will definitely purchase again!5WowI am LOVING this! I do not have really dark under eye hyperpigmentation, but its enough that my under eyes look slightly red and blue, and just look uneven in tone and texture because of pesky milia! I'm 33 and do have some creasing and fine lines going on, and I haven't ever found one under eye product/concealer that is the be all and end all for me. Most are either too cakey, too tacky, never set and end pooling into fine lines before I'm even done with my makeup, or barely cover anything at all. Now, this stuff can crease, however, it's so sheer in texture that setting with powder doesn't create that heaviness that I get when setting other concealers, and works beautifully under my foundation. This only comes in one shade which was a little worrisome for me because I lean more toward yellow undertones and "one shade fits all" products typically end up too warm for me. I decided that even though it looked a little too pink for my skin tone I'd give it a go regardless.I'm reallllly glad I did! It doesn't end up looking too pink at all!Honestly, this packs a serious luminous punch without looking glittery and it reallllly evens out and brightens up my under eye area and diminishes the blotch-fest going on under my eyes. It's really thick and paste like. A small dab is all I need, though I'm sure it depends on the person and intensity of hyperpigmentation you have as far as how much is needed. It reminds me a bit of Benefit's Erase Paste consistency wise, although in my opinion blends in to the skin a lot easier even though it is a bit stickier upon initial application than Erase Paste.I will warn you, if you order this online and live in a hot climate, be careful opening it because it will be completely liquified. I live in TX and it was molten upon arrival and now I have quite a bit of product on the lid and the contents are now smooshed to one side (even after tapping the bottom a bit and letting it sit flat and cool).I find that I like it under my foundation more than when applied after. It's a personal preference and depends on your foundation as well, but for me this gives a more natural looking result. So far I've only tried it under my cream foundation, but I'm looking foward to trying it out with powder and liquid as well. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of the 5 it deserves for performance is: the smell. I hate how it smells. It's reminiscent of grandma's old lipstick buried in the back of a drawer. It's not very pleasant, although, once it's on it dissipates and becomes unnoticeable. All in all I'd have to say that so far this is the best under eye brightener/concealer-type of product I have purchased or tried in recent memory. I think it's a completely worthwhile buy and is priced fairly for what it is and how it performs.4It's ok - but hard to blend to even finishI like this product, but I am not sure if I would buy it again for the following reasons:- it is stickier than I thought it would be which makes it challenging to apply evenly- when applying it seems like more product needs to be used than should be to create evenness - this is because blending can be difficult due to texture- even when using a great application brush or even my ring finger it is difficult to blend- the color is lighter than I would like which can cause under eye area to look "raccoon-like" It might be better if there was a shade a tad darker. (my skin tone is on the medium side)I like the concept of this product. I like that where I dab it IT STICKS. I do NOT like how it's difficult to blend.4Really happy with this productThis stuff is a miracle for me. My dark circles have plagued me for so long, and they are BAD. Nothing seems to cover them. I saw this product in a Youtube makeup tutorial, and it's perfect! I think people complaining about creasing must be using too much. I just dab dab dab a little bit around the eye and my dark circles fade away. I don't have any issues with thickness, waxiness, or creasing. I'm really happy with this product. The photo shows product on one side, no product on the other side.5Love this stuffI have used this stuff for years and will buy it indefinitely!! The key is not to use too much, otherwise it is hard to blend and can be obvious/cakey. I just tap on it twice lightly with my ring finger to get the correct amount and voila! I also added a picture of both the color options in case someone is unsure like I was. I've always gotten the light/medium (the before/after pic) but I wanted to see how the darker version would look. Hope this helps!5that's the big appeal with the becca-it is supposed to go on easily because it has a high water content the reason i am giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because in ordering this time the product seems less creamy than the first time i ordered it. that's the big appeal with the becca-it is supposed to go on easily because it has a high water content. this time i found i had to make sure the moisterizer under my eyes was not yet absorbed in order to get a smooth application. was not happy about that. that being said. i do like the look of it, covers the circles without giving me raccoon eyes and is also a great highlighter for cheekbones and above the brow. 4Great BrightenerThis does a great job of brightening up the under eye area, as well as providing some coverage, too. It is easy to apply with my concealor brush and blends well. I apply this first, then mix it with the Kevyn Aucoin Sensual Skin enhancer and use the combination as my concealer.UPDATE:I have stopped applying this alone first and just mix it with the Sensual Skin Enhancer to cut out the extra step, and not only does it work just as well, it looks and stays crease free better without the extra layer.5Its probably best for young women with dark circles and tight skinThis cream was intensely shiny and although I tried to cover it with another concealer, it caked and stayed in creases. Its probably best for young women with dark circles and tight skin, I am 622First ImpressionI just got this product today. I've already done some research as to application techniques so I tried it out. On bare skin I applied this product with a small kabuki brush. I then layered my IT Cosmetics CC concealer. After that I set it with Ben Nye Super White powder. My under eye creases really badly no matter what, and especially with an extra cream layer so that struggle continues. As for the color correcting, you can see it does a great job. Before I applied concealer it was shimmery and sheer looking. Definitely not a good look alone. I think the super white adds to the brightening but if you just use your well matched liquid concealer and set with a sheer/translucent powder, it may yield similar results. I haven't been able to do a complete trial yet but what I've seen so far is impressive. My dark circles have never been covered so much by anything before.4Did not workIf you are over 35 do not use this it will look cakey in looser skin. Only for people with tight skin1
