Perfect!!I seriously love this pressed powder!! It has amazing coverage and blends in so well. I've tried soooooo many high end mineral powders and this is def my fave. I'll never switch.5Love the Glo This is my favorite makeup. I don't wear liquid base cuz I've had acne all my life. I just want a powder that matches my skin and covers all the red scars the acne causes. This powder foundation does just that. I bought it in a store the first time then that store closed so now I find it on Amazon.I have had very little luck finding powder to match my skin because none of the colors at the drug store ever look good, and even department store make up seemed to be mostly for pink people. I'm Italian and Turkish so I'm kinda olive and yellow. Bare Minerals loose powders almost matched me but always made my face look lighter. Glo Minerals Honey Fair is just the perfect color.Also this powder lasts all day and has never bugged my skin at all and my skin is really sensitive and acne prone. 5Three StarsNot worth the new jacked up price. Lost me as a customer.1Too Powdery for Me but Stays on WellI believe my skin is too dry for this. I thought I was buying a product I had bought before named Glo-Minerals but it isn't quite the same. If you like a powdery look rather than a smooth glow, this product would be for you. At a certain age, however, products that make your skin look less than dewy are not optimal. I rated it a 4-star product though because I may have just ordered a lighter color than what I need but this base does not seem to be compressed enough -- too loose in texture.4Looks usedSponge looked used and no plastic separating the sponge from makeup1Color much lighter than expectedI have been using the Glo Under Eye Concealer Duo in Golden, which is a mix of Medium and Light. My usual powder foundation was out of stock (a different brand) so I decided to try this Glo one. I got the Golden Medium, given my use of the concealer. However, the powder was soooo much lighter. It went on a bit heavy, but I could brush some off, but it makes me look ashen, artificially pale. I agree with a few reviewers that if you want a light coating, use a brush instead of the sponge pad. But even so, given this is in the middle of the Glo color range, I think it is ridiculously light in color. Probably the minerals that are reflecting too much light.At the current price, this was a rather expensive color experiment, and they don't have samples. Because it goes on rather heavy and is smooth and lightweight, I tried it as a matte eye shadow, and it works well that way, staying on all day and not creasing. But of course, it is not made as an eyeshadow and I would not have paid this amount for an eyeshadow. So use caution when ordering if you have not actually tested a sample on your face. This is rather pricey to experiment with.3Good and clean coverage for a powder.I don t prefer to wear foundation but I do have melasma from being pregnant and in the sun. That s a tip for you pregnant ladies try to stay out of the sun. It s has something to do with your hormones during pregnancy. Before my precious babies I didn t have any all year round freckles . Don t freckles disappear then brighten in the summer But I digress, I use the sponge that it comes with and pat a couple or three layers on to tame the melasma. It doesn t make them disappear but it goes on nicely and it doesn t look powdery afterwards like drugstore compacts can sometimes do. Also love that it s mineral based! Will continue to order in the future.Here s a guilty secret, some nights I m so exhausted and fall asleep before I get a chance to do my nightly facial routine. I do notice that the product doesn t clog my pores around my nose and t-zone area. I m not prone to breakouts but I do get those pesky little blackheads on and around my nose and t-zone area.5Way better than Bare Minerals Purchased this after using Bare Minerals and this has AMAZING coverage. My face is super sensitive and breaks out very easily but not with this product. I have slept with this foundation without having any breakouts and it looks as good as when I applied it. 5So I really love this pressed powder and have been using it for ...So I really love this pressed powder and have been using it for three or four years. I started purchasing it through Amazon maybe two years ago. I recently ordered the golden light, which I will do when my face has gotten more sun. When I received it recently and started using it, I thought oh, guess I changed up my color too soon because it was so incredibly dark on my skin. Well, I just continued to use sparingly because I wasn t going to spend another 40 something dollars for a new one. Then, just the other day I m pulling it out of my purse and happen to see that no, in fact it is not golden light which I ordered, but golden dark. Super bummed! Have never had a problem when ordering Glo so just assumed it was my fault and that I actually hadn t had as much color to my skin from being in the sun as I had originally thought. Nope, wrong color completely. Not cool when you are spending this much money on makeup and it s something I use everyday.2So far I'm very pleased.My BB cream was no longer cutting it. I am dealing with some hormonal acne and decided to switch back to powder. My first time wearing it did not give me enough coverage (just as some other reviewers complained) however; on the second day I did things differently and got fantastic results. I moisturized my face and then applied my concealer on all the hyper pigmentation and acne. I then applied the powdered foundation that created a seemlees and velvety kind of finish. Before you bash this product due to lack of coverage, add your concealer to the equation before applying the foundation. If the one application doesnt work it does build in coverage the more you apply it. But to avoid a heavy cakey look I highly recommend doing the concealer trick first. Despite being a powder...in an hour or so I do see the Glo on my skin. A healthy kind of glo. I do believe I'm sold. :)5Fake knock-off This is not a true glo minerals product! Beware! I've ordered glo minerals compacts many times on Amazon and never had a problem until now. This is a knock-off trying to pass as an actual glo-minerals compact.I immediately knew when I saw the box, I then compared it to the compact I have and the sticker on the back is white, all glo-minerals stickers are a shiny light silver, also the embossing on the compact is raised, it's not raised on the original. The cardboard box is flimsy, the original glo-minerals box is thick like a mac makeup compact box. When you truly know your makeup, you can catch a fraud a mile away. I'm so disappointed because I ordered this through prime! 1Update: I was wrong. Previous review: Ok coverage, but accentuates lines and wrinklesUpdate: I had used the sponge that came in the compact before my last review. I noticed the package suggests a kabuki brush. Giving it one more shot, I sort of buffed a lot less powder into my cheeks using little circles. The coverage was way better and I didn t get the weird crepe skin on my forehead. This pressed base works better than I initially thought and I up my review to 4 stars. It just takes some gentle buffing and light amounts of product. I m willing to admit when I m wrong.Original review:I m in my late 30 s and have mild aging on my face. Mostly fine lines with a couple stress wrinkles on my forehead. This base covered the two acne spots I have, but completely made my lines and wrinkles worse. It even made part of my temples look like crepe skin!!! Around my eyes looked 10 years older.4The one makeup product I stand by 100%.I don't think I've ever written an Amazon review. For this product, I will. I've used this foundation since 2005 when a coworker recommended it. Have been married to it ever since. I know nothing else that treats my skin so kindly, leaving no irritation, and providing an excellent finish. Lasts all day and somehow keeps my very dry skin hydrated. I can attest to another reviewer's comment-- I too often leave it on overnight (when I fall asleep with the kids), and wake up the next morning still glowing. Have found no reason to switch to another foundation, having used it from my mid-20s now to my mid-30s! It's the one makeup product I stand by 100%.5
