    Very hydrating, color goes on lighter than it looks Very hydrating, great shine. Color goes on lighter than it looks. Color is NOT long wearing, but your lips won't dry out. The more intense red worn by Gigi Hadid in the ad, was sold out. This has pink undertones vs orange undertones.Came sealed in a box. Don't raise lipstick too much because it's very soft due to the moisturizing oils. 4Feels good. Great option for a nude lip.Nice option for a nude lipstick. The consistency is very nice, goes on very smooth and has a little peachy nude shine that seems like it would work well for a lot of skin tones. It would work well on top of other lip colors especially drier formulas. Feels like a lip balm. Would need to be reapplied often.5Maybelline s take on Korean glossy lipstick!This lipstick is stunning! It has a super high shine finish yet is quite strongly pigmented and stains your lips evenly. It reminds me very strongly of some of the Korean lipsticks I love. My only quibble is that it has the ubiquitous Maybelline lipstick playdoh smell, other than this it is an absolute steal! I purchased the color 085 Pink Fetish and will be buying a backup :)5Maybelline Knows Lipstick!I generally love Maybelline lip products, and this one is certainly a winner in my book! I was excited to see that they came out with a shiny lipstick--I've really had it with all of the matte lip products, and have been hoping that the tide would turn back to products that make your lips look soft and moist, not dry. Anyhow, I ordered three of these-mauve, chocolate and taupe. Mauve is my favorite of the three. It's just a beautiful color. The chocolate is more orange-ish than I would expect, on me anyhow, but I do still like it. The taupe is a really pretty and unusual tone that is different to wear. It is a bit of a slippery formula, not a creamy one like their original Color Sensational. At one time, they had some high shine shades of Color Sensational, but I think these are softer and shinier than those. For the softness and slip that these have, they do have a decent wear time, however. Not what I would call LONG wearing, but decent wear time. They have a pretty shine, not a crazy, over-the-top lip gloss shine. I plan on trying the rest of the colors. I think they are just a great addition to a lipstick wardrobe for a very reasonable price.5Very pretty and comfortable to wear.I ordered this after seeing it in a magazine. It was very inexpensive, about $6. I expected spicy sangria to be more of a wine red, but this is more of a deep rose tone on my very pale lips. It looks good with my super pale, cool-toned complexion. Nothing shocking, and totally appropriate for work. I like lipsticks that offer a sheer wash of color. This is a bit more opaque than that, but not too much. This is a very smooth formula that feels like a nice lip balm to wear. Not a matte finish, more of a satin or shine. Not sure yet about wear time, but leaves a nice stain when wiped off. I would buy again and try other shades.4Great price. Will order different shades if possibleLovely color. Does not dry out lips. Color is great, a bit darker than it looks on screen, of course. But still a fairly neutral brownish color. I like it. Only complaint is texture is nearly too shiny but easily solved by blotting once with a tissue. After that it is perfect. Still a bit drying to lips and need a lip balm (such as Burts Bees) beneath.4Almost Neon BrightThe colors are not as expected. I bought this because of another reviewer saying it was lighter than it looked. Well, it's not. It's darker, brighter and a different color than it looks in the tube. Lipsticks do tend to change color on me but not this drastically. It is almost neon.3Scarlet Flame is very sheerThis lipstick is way more trouble than it's worth. It's very moist and shiny, but at the expense of being slippery and out of control. But the real problem is that is way too sheer. It's described as a "full-color" lipstick, but it really isn't. Scarlet Flame was sort of like a red cream-jelly ("crelly" for any nail polish enthusiasts out there), but even with 5 or 6 swipes, you never get rich, deep color. A lipliner might help to enrich the color, and slow the bleeding, but that's more effort than I was hoping for with this lipstick.It IS very shiny, however. So if you don't care about it slipping and sliding around your mouth, and you're cool with sheer color, then you might like this. For me, it didn't work----there are plenty of other shiny lipsticks out there with opaque color and comfortable formulas.The other irritating thing is the shape of this lipstick, which is a flat slant cut, versus a normal bullet shape. For some stupid reason, the lipstick does not retract all the way, which means that until you wear it down significantly, there is always going to be the risk of knocking the soft lipstick as you pull the lipstick cap off. I've attached photos showing the Shine Compulsion in Scarlet Flame next to another normal Maybelline lipstick (Vibrant Violet). The regular Maybelline twists all the way down and is protected, but the Shine Compulsion sticks out of the protective case.3Better Than Most Expensive LipsticksLet me first start off by saying that Maybelline should make MORE colors with this formula. This is by far the best lipstick that I have ever applied in my life. I am an avid makeup user/buyer. I have purchased lipsticks that have cost me $30, and none of them compare to this formula. The lipstick applies like a dream. It feels more like a lip balm, oppose to a lipstick. The colors in this collection are insanely pigmented. Buyers beware, if you purchase one of these lipsticks, you will want to purchase them all.5Beautiful nude colorThis lipstick is very creamy and moisturizing. You will need a lipliner to prevent bleeding. This color is absolutely stunning on my chocolate complexion and it makes a great cream nude. It is not all-day wear and it doesnt claim to be so reapplication is required. I recommend to makeup wearers, not for beginners.5
