    My go-to product. I love this product. It doesn't dry out my lips like some other long-lasting lipsticks. I use it because I have vitiligo (ref. Michael Jackson) on my lips and this provides nice coverage. It does require a re-application when eating greasy foods like fried chicken, bacon, enchiladas, etc. but it generally holds up well to drinking, eating a sandwich, fruits, etc. I've tried numerous different products ranging from stains to creams and I've always gone back to this one. It could be better, but it's the best I've found to date in the colors that work for my skin tone (light tan). 5NOT a long-wearing product! I have been using Revlon & Covergirl outlast and other long wearing products for years that really do last 12-24 hours and doesn't leave any marks on cups, etc.. This is NOT a long wearing product. It is really a standard lipstick that comes off on napkins, cups, etc. it doesn't stay on which is the main reason I purchased it. The texture on the lips is like other traditional lipsticks so it is heavier than the stay on glosses. The colors are a bit darker than shown which I wouldn't mind if the color stayed on. 2horrible product. Won't stay and cakes out. I am not sure if I got a defective product or if this lipstick is as bad as the one I got.To begin with, I could tell that the sellers sent me an old product that was sitting there for a long time, because the cap was not white but half of it was white and the other was yellowish (like the type of yellow that white plastic gets when old).The products is horrible to apply and looks terrible. It cakes out. When I apply it, it won't stay on the lips and cakes out. If I rub my lips together, it breaks and "falls out" in some areas, and it accumulates at the borders of my lips while caking out towards the center.I know that long lasting lipsticks have a different texture and that's why I am not sure if this was defective or it is just like that, but I won't spend a cent buying another one to find out. 1Flaky and grainy texture!! This has always been my favorite drugstore lipstick for years! But I haven t been able to find it in any store recently. So I ordered online and I m not sure if the heat somehow affected the product during delivery or what. But the TWO lipsticks I bought were extremely grainy and flaky. Something I never had a problem with when I bought in stores. It feels grainy and even looks flaky on my lips! It was even coming off in chunks. I m really not sure if the formula has changed or if there was something defective with my lipsticks, but this is not the lipstick that I have loved and bought for years from CVS/Walgreens/Target. 2Long lasting color My lips are disappearing as I get older, so I actually like this even though it was bit darker than I expected. It stays on pretty well. I usually have to reapply after eating. Other than that, I usually don't have to worry about it for hours after application. I've always liked Maybelline products and know they are a reputable brand, so I knew ordering online wasn't going to be an issue. Very thankful for an easy to apply and long lasting lipstick. Lipstick is my thing and this color is my go-to when I don't know what color to wear - more of a burgundy. I also love the fact that it stays and stays so if it's going to be a long day - definitely a good lipstick. I find that you don't need lip liner or primer with the Maybelline 14 hour, the color stays true and I've never had it bleed. Not sure why it's not more popular than it is because this is a great lipstick. I have medium coloring with blue eyes and white/grey hair. Pros: Long-lasting, doesn't bleed, color stays true. Cons: Can be drying. 5This is not Colorstay lipstick...I don't know why the tube says it is. The color is beautiful, but.... It's not 14 hour lipstick. I put it on and it comes off on everything. 2My favorite lipstick I've spend a lot of money on lipstick over the years, so I'm shocked that good ol' drugstore Maybelline makes my favorite lipstick. The colors of this particular line are really nice, and the lipstick stays on for hours. I don't know why, but I've never been able to keep lipstick on for more than an hour - if that. When I bought long-wearing lipsticks, they'd either just come off as usual or they'd wear off, but my lips would be stained. This stuff stays on, and the color never shifts. I can't recommend this enough. It's great. 53 1/2 Stars The good and the bad ....Good - Compact and easy to carry, color is what is shown (Never Ending Nude), smells delightful!Bad - This has a shimmer to it which isn't mentioned. I hate 'sparkly' lipstick, although it is a light shimmer and some may like it. Does NOT stay on more than a few hours and is drying. Although not as much as some other 'long wear' lipsticks I've used. Can only say it's O.K. 3
